Is BuildingLink a subscription-based product?

What is included in BuildingLink’s subscription price?
Our subscriptions include everything you need to use our service competently and confidently. That means all set-up, training, customer service assistance and even the SMS feature for communicating with your community is included in your monthly fee. Technical assistance is part of the customer service function too and this support is generally managed over email - we’re known for responding to these requests and queries at lightning speed! Our aim is to make the service smooth and easy for our clients with no need to worry about additional, unexpected charges.

How secure is BuildingLink?
Our cloud-based servers are privately owned and distributed to increase the security of our network well above industry standards. In the 20 years of operating, we’ve never had a security breach. Security and reliability are built into each module of our service and we regularly update (without downtime for you) to keep everything safer than houses.

What security measures does BuildingLink have in place to ensure privacy and data integrity are maintained and breaches of the servers are guarded against?
Along with maintaining our own private, distributed servers, all BuildingLink data is stored in a private cloud which no other organisation has access to. In addition to these measures - which are above industry standards - we follow the best data security recommendations and practices for ensuring the security of web and data servers as well as running the latest, most robust and secure software possible. On top of that, the Ritz-Carlton Residences Network tested our site over a two month period, including intrusion testing, and we passed with flying colours, achieving an overall A rating!

Does BuildingLink integrate with Accounting packages?
BuildingLink integrates with a number of different Strata Management Accountancy systems, Property IQ is the latest accountancy package integration. We also offer our own Ledger system, which includes all the usual accountancy functionality along with Strata specific features like lease management, legal documentation, and paperless records.

How often is BuildingLink updated?
BuildingLink software is updated regularly without any down-time for our clients. We’re able to do this because the system is supported with multiple privately-owned servers that enable us to update programmes without ever having to make any module or part of a module unavailable - even for a second.

How easy is BuildingLink to use?
BuildingLink’s software has been built to be intuitive and simple to use. We also work with our clients and support them throughout implementation and set up to make sure they’re completely comfortable with all the modules and know exactly what to use. Our aim is to make the daily running of your communities easy and straightforward. And we’re always on hand to help if something gets forgotten, or you need a hand.

Does BuildingLink offer any discount or have a referral program?
Our subscriptions are based on the modules our clients want for their building management needs - additional discounts on modules or the whole system are not available. BuildingLink’s referral program generously recognises the clients who bring us new business. Find out more.
